The Magic Words
The Magic Words is the moniker under which Lisa Walker releases her solo output. This includes the bare bones of many songs that were later to become fully formed Wussy classics. Junk Train was the first release - in 2006 on Agriculture Records - recorded and mixed at home by Walker. Followed by a handmade self-released assemblage of songs titled The Day We Ran Away. Selected tracks from those earlier releases were compiled and re-mastered by Matthew Barnhart for a self-titled Damnably cassette tape release in 2017.
